It's lantern festival also known as mooncake festival!! I love festivals with a story behind it - this particular festival is about chang-er. I'm sure majority knows who she is. I just love the atmosphere ! Kids playing with lanterns and firecrackers, aunties uncles watching getai woo hoo it's really super fun ! =)

As usual, my siblings and I went down to the mini park to stroll with lanterns and play with candles. The moon today is round and bright but I prefer a orangy moon...makes me feel as though I'm in ancient times =P

There's so many different types of lanterns from the traditional ones to the electric ones. I prefer the traditional one where we have to use the candle haha and we always get it burned. Firecrackers are the new addition to the playing object of lantern festivals.....sure making lots of noises but it's so lively!

After my 3 months of school vacation, my temporary job has ended. Time really flies.....it seems only yesterday when i first joined the company and now I'm back to school. The type of working environment really determines on how one deem working enjoyable or not. For my case, I've really enjoyed every moment working during my holidays. Whether it's the work I'm doing, the colleagues I have, everything there is memorable.

I must say I've learnt a lot from my job from dealing with people to understanding how a company works and guess this knowledge is essential in the near future when i graduates. However getting to know my colleagues is the best thing that can happen to me. They are really friendly and have no qualms in sharing whatever they have with you. Super easy going, humorous and generous are some of the words one can use to describe them.

I'm feel loved there. Everyone seems to be taking care of me and treating me in a way so nice yet comfortable. It's really sweet of them to make farewell cards and buy farewell gifts for me and I really appreciate everything that they have done. It's really sad to leave them though there's a phrase "all good things must come to an end" but I can't help feeling lost suddenly though I can always still visit them. Life still goes on though....gotta study hard for the final year. Time will make me feel better =)
